A FAMILY LEGACY
In 1955, Leonard Baxter founded Baxter’s White Front at the corner of Airline Road and Sternberg Road in Fruitport, MI. Later, the business became known as Baxter’s Towing Storage & LP Gas. Throughout three changes in ownership since its beginning, the company has always remained in the Baxter family.
The Baxter children grew up watching the towing industry take shape, and the company’s leadership passed from father to son as the younger generations learned the art and trade of the family business.
Currently, Larry Baxter owns and runs the company alongside his father, Fred Baxter, who guides him with his experience and knowledge. With the expertise passed down through the family over the years, Baxter’s Towing Storage & LP Gas provides the skills to get the job done right.
